This new platform allows us to offer a small, high-capacity vehicle to intervene on fire outbreaks in restricted or high-risk areas. The remote operation allows the vehicle to be controlled from a rescue station or a remote center several kilometers away. This allows to cool down the zones before the intervention of the rescue teams.
With a 15-year background in car manufacturers, I worked with Navya to design tomorrow’s transportation and we launched the first autonomous shuttle on open road in 2018. The other experiments demonstrated the need to manage luggage in addition to passengers so TAUR was born in 2020 with the objective of building a range of platforms and keeping humans at the center of the robotic assistance device. The acceleration expected in 2023 will allow us to build a team mixing industrial experience and new technologies to provide a French response in the global race. TAUR solutions will also see the birth of training courses accessible to people with disabilities.
